Be warned that your cable input is everything. On the VGA the picture is very unimpressive, but once I got an hdmi cable the picture is beautiful. Sharp, great size, and the monitor itself is very nice.

The best monitor I have used. In the past I have not used monitors at the maximum resolution, becasue the text is too small at normal size, however this one will provide legible type at full resolution, and can display two complete web pages side by side with full legability. THe screen is so bright that it the rest of the room seems dim at night. I’m looking into buying a second monitor for work. Thoroughly recommended

Its bright (I love the auto-bright adjustment), huge, and fast. I play WoW and it looks amazing. At 400nits, 27″ with an HDMI input (I use for my flip camcorder), and 16:9 its an excellent value at $389 from Fry’s Electronics 12-11-09. The downside is it screen tears with some 2D games if the VSYNC option isn’t enabled in the game.

LG is really out front in providing a large wide screen monitor at the reasonable price.

It has many extra features and the color and resolution is outstanding. It is even better

than my 42″ flatscreen Panasonic TV. For all those of you thinking of buying two monitors

to do your work, this is the only one you need.

This is a fantastic monitor for the price, but make sure you use digital video cable (DVI cable not included) or you will have bad ghosting on images or at least I did. Fast response time, good contrast, and the biggest you will get for the price. Shipping was fast. Highly recommended.
