I am extremely disappointed with the picture color and clarity. The blues are gray and the yellows are muted. EVERYthing is blurred.

This is going to be returned.

I’m sorry I bought a 23″ monitor. The only resolution that works normally is the highest one (which is also the only one that is recommended) at 1920 X 1080. The print on many applications is so tiny that it causes terrible eyestrain. If I try a smaller resolution to get bigger text, then the screen doesn’t get filled up, and I’m left with black space on both sides. So, although I can increase text size easily on browsers, there are other programs, such as AOL, Dreamweaver, etc., where I cannot adjust the text size.

The quality of the monitor is decent. But what good is having a good quality monitor, if I can’t read a lot of stuff comfortably?

I also updated the monitor drivers, directly from Viewsonic’s web site, and it did not make a difference.

I would not recommend this monitor (or ANY large high resolution monitor) to anyone who has trouble reading small print!

Viewsonic has for over a decade now, provided me with affordable and beautiful monitors. I started with a 2A Multisync, and while I have wandered away from time to time, when I return to Viewsonic monitors I never regret the decision. The Viewsonic VA2323wm is no exception. The monitor is simply beautiful, the only gripe I could have with it is that the stand could be better. With rebate, this monitor was 23″ widescreen for under $150, I can’t really complain whatsoever.

My DELL 21″ LCD power button suddenly gone bad. No way to turn on a perfectly good monitor. Call DELL and they explained what a great bargain I got this monitor w/ my PC bought 15 months ago; but sorry monitor has only 1 year warranty due to great package price. But they can sell me a replacement at $209 with (Wow!) 3-year warranty. Lesson learned is that why buy a monitor from DELL when you can get one cheaper and better with 3-year warranty from Viewsonic/AMAZON. My older 19″ Viewsonic has no problem after more than three years. I will never pay for another DELL monitor at great bundle price w/ 1-year warranty. Viewsonic is easily a better deal.
